We spent two fantastic days with Dhammika and his beautiful family who made us feel so welcome. Nestled among the sprawling tea plantations on the edge of the reservoir, the villa was simple but very comfortable, with a lovely view of the rolling green hills. Throughout our stay, Dhammika was a massive help, even driving us to the foot of Adam’s Peak in his tuk tuk at 1:30am and then showing us the various waterfalls and tea factories. He was a fount of local knowledge, and the breakfasts and dinners prepared by his wife and mother-in-law were delicious! Thank you, Dhammika!

I had a very pleasant stay at B.Rose. The accommodation is about 7 minutes from the train station. I had everything I needed: an excellent breakfast, an even better dinner, a hot shower and a thick blanket for the slightly cooler temperatures. The hosts gave me wonderful advice about a tour to Adam's Peak in the off-season and activities in the surrounding area. They organised the excellent driver Ragu for me, with whom I spent two days travelling. I can highly recommend him and the accommodation.

The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless with good facilities. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing, making it a great place to stay. Amazing remote location surrounded by tea plantations and a lake, what a wonderful view to wake up to! Room was very luxurious and furnished to a high standard. We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool. Staff were outstanding and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They even provided us with transport for our Adam’s Peak sunrise summit. You have to stay here!

Location was great, right next to the station. The garden out the front was so pretty and lovely and you had a nice view. The man who owns the house was so lovely and accommodating and took care of anything we needed (laundry, towels, etc.). He even brought us over some chocolate which was super sweet of him. The shower and bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was a fan in the room (no ac but we didn't need it). Really nice and super cheap restaurant around the corner too!

Very clean and comfortable place to stay. They dont provide meals but two food shops nearby provide high variety of meals for a very cheap price.

The host was very helpful and kind. Location was excellent for easy reach to town bus and railway stations. Magnificent view from the terrace. Place well secured and very clean. Provided lunch and even packed breakfast for my early start. Room comfortable, hot water available at all times.

Mount View Bungalow is a nice place to stay if you travel across Hatton area, specially to Adam's Peak. Very close to the Hatton town centre. Place was very clean and organized. Rishad, the owner was very friendly and supportive and will definitely help with anything you needed - meals, parking, locations etc. Highly recommended for both locals and foreigners who expect a great customer service.

I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, I took a tuktuk with the owner to Adam's Peak for a reasonable price and he gave me great advice about the area. He picked me up from the train station, but it's also only a 10minute walk so it's a great location. Everything is very clean and the room has a door out to the balcony, it's very cute. Dinner was included and it was delicious 😋

Kiruba is the nicest, kindest, most helpful host I’ve come across. He goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. The rooms themselves are simple but very clean and comfortable, and the location is fantastic, within a short walk of the main road and with a lovely terrace looking out over the hills beyond.
