Nice, clean, comfortable, quit and spacious. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Close to the beach where we saw the giant turtles. We visited several locations in Sri Lanka for the same price but less comfortable. ++ No dogs inside the gate!

Wonderful, very clean accommodation with the most beautiful pool we’ve experienced so far. Very friendly and family-like service, and an incredible variety of exotic wildlife, especially birds. Secluded dream beaches within walking distance (though unfortunately very rough at this time of year). Lots of restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. A true piece of authentic Sri Lanka. Thanks also for the nice birthday surprise for my daughter! Unforgettable stay!

The owner and her team are amazing - welcoming, helpful and very friendly! The room was spacious, clean and had a great balcony - one of the best we had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. The breakfast was delicious and a lot, we loved all homemade delicacies. The owner provided us with useful tips and recommendations, and can support with any question on the activities.

The cabana we stayed in was very cute and situated so close to the beach that we could hear the waves as we fell asleep. The staff were very friendly and the property was well maintained. We were only scheduled to stay one night, but we changed our booking after we arrived so we could have an extra night.

The room was big and clean, the view was incredible, the surrounding was calm and full only of birds singing. The food was delicious and the guy there was extremely versatile and ready to help us by arranging the meals and the turtles watching as we wanted.

I recently stayed at Igabara Hobbit House Rakawa, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The place is truly special — surrounded by nature, filled with greenery, and designed with a lot of creativity and care. The room was very clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a unique hobbit-style design that makes you feel like you’re in a little hidden paradise. The garden area and pool are well maintained, and it’s such a nice spot to relax, read a book, or enjoy a quiet evening. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything needed. They made sure everything was comfortable during my stay. The Alpha Monkey know how to do serenity and relaxation. Provided everything we needed and they make sure their guests are comfortable. Great to be away from the tourist track but a quick tuk tuk ride can get you to banks, shops, restaurants. This is the best place on this strip of coast.

We had a really wonderful stay here at this little haven in Tangalle! The location is perfect, just a 2 min walk from the beach, yet you feel hidden away in a little jungle paradise. Agra was the kindest host, she was so thoughtful, bringing us a fresh fruit snack in the afternoon, and always on hand with a smile to help with anything. The room was a really good size, and unbelievable value for money - highly recommend staying here!

Great location in a short walk from the beach. All our needs and wishes were fulfilled right away. Since we stayed longer, we were even offered to get a fridge, what was great addition. Breakfast is delicious and is served at nice dining area with great view to lagoon. Grab your binoculars if you are interested in wild nature: several bird species and monkeys were spotted from the dining area. We asked to adjust our breakfast for more “Sri Lankan” and enjoyed hoppers and roti with different fillings. Pool, room and garden were all clean, spacious and well maintained. Calm and quiet in the evenings. We had a room with AC, and it worked perfectly. Property has own entrance to the lagoon with kayaks available for free. Don’t miss your chance for a little adventure. We definitely recommend staying at Hidden garden, if your values match with ours ❤️
