The view from the house is incredibly beautiful. Our hosts were also very helpful and caring. Mohamed was very available and open to answer our questions and informed us about a great hike possible starting from the house. Dinner and breakfast were definitely amongst the best we had during our entire trip in Morocco. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the extra drive through the mountains (try to ask for the best route coming from Asni in advance to avoid a tricky drive) - but is completely worth it!

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tacheddirt, Riad Dar Amgdoule Tacheddirt is an apartment surrounded by views of the river.

Mohamed is a great host. We walked from Imlil to be greeted by him outside his cafe at the edge of the village. He gave us tea and made a delicious tagine before we headed to the property. The property was very clean with a nice warm shower. Mohammed was a great host and would sit and laugh with us for hours. We decided to stay a second night as we enjoyed his company and the property so much. He cooked a great breakfast and gave us some snacks for our day of walking. On the second night he took us down into another village in the valley that you probably wouldn’t visit to have tea with his friend. What a gem! We've booked because of the area and the reviews and so glad we did. The place itself is very charming, the views as from our room so the two rooftops are spectacular. But the part which surprised us the most are the people. Such a tranquil place and they genuinely care. By that we don't mean just the owners or their family, but also the unrelated hiking tour guides who did not care about us not being part of their teams and were extremely friendly and apprehensive. We met there 3 and all of them offered us to join the delicious food they prepared for their clients, helped translating when communicating with the owners etc. The owners are also second to none, always there to help, incredibly friendly and attentive and they do care beyond as the last night we had to leave at 6am so they prepared for us sandwiches as free breakfast with ingredients which they could see that we were eating on each of the previous breakfasts. Btw, the normal breakfast is also amazing, plenty filling for all day of hiking. Moreover, they offer lunches and dinners, freshly cooked at 60 DIR each. Serious retreat, thank you! If we ever manage to come back to Morocco, we'll make sure to come and stay again!

This place is amazing. Great place to spend the night for hikers passing through. Very affordable, comfortable and if you get the optional dinner you are in for a treat. You will get literal mountains of couscous or tagine with vegetables and meat all cooked by the lovely owners. The view and the night sky speak for themselves.

The place is magnificently located and decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful. That while also being fairly priced, I wouldn't know what to ask for more.

I can't remember the guy's name but he was super accommodating. We left our bags so we could climb Toubkal, he even offered us a shower on our return. Highly recommend.
