Nuno and Solange are wonderful people and the nicest hosts you can imagine. We were welcomed with a nice basket with some local specialties, Nuno recommended several insider tipps for activities and places to visit, and one evening they brought over fresh sweetbread they had just baked. It was still warm (and delicious!). After 9 days, it felt like leaving friends we had visited. Also, it should be mentioned that Nuno is a talented and passionate artist, which shows in every aspect of the house. All the paintings are handmade originals, and the furniture and decoration is very stylish, yet unobtrusive. A perfect home to spend the whole day or enjoy the sunset after exploring Sao Miguel.

Accommodation was in an excellent location. The landlady was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was clean, fully equipped, and a basket of local treats was waiting for us. At night it was perfectly quiet, and the view was breathtaking. I absolutely recommend it.

Wow, this place was a gem! We stayed at this charming country house, and it was an absolute delight. The property is spotless and the facilities are top-notch. You’ve got a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace. The garden is beautiful, complete with a barbecue setup that made for some great evenings outside. One of the best things is the location—it's super accessible by car, and you get these amazing mountain views. Plus, the owner is incredibly kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The WiFi is fast and reliable, and there's free private parking, which is always a plus. For those chilly nights, the fireplace keeps things warm and cozy. Honestly, it’s worth every euro we paid. We left feeling relaxed and recharged. Can’t wait to come back!

I had to reserve the accommodation last minute, and the host was super flexible and friendly about it, truly guest-loving couple who live there too. The kitchen, bathroom are well-equipped, they even have a washing machine which I could also use. Also, if you are renting a car (highly advised), go for a local option, Auto Ramalhense, much friendlier than the big rental car companies and they didn't require any deposit.

Very nice hotel, comfortable and big bed, very clean and quiet. Breakfast is also very good and complete. The staff was really nice and friendly, especially Carlos who took his time to show us on the map every nice place to visit on the island. Also there is a nice spa were you can relax after a hard trail.

Quite big, very clean and calm, the beds were comfortable. Very nice contact with the hosts and a lot of useful information found in a guide. Close to Pico da Vara trail and other Nordeste sights. We could easily park the car along the street.

the apartment is well equipped and the location is perfect to visit Sao Miguel. Off course, a car is needed, however within 20/30 minutes by car you can see huge amount of wonderful places. Riu, the host, will help you a lot, just ask to him. additionally, walking for 15 minutes you will reach a wonderful mirador where you can have pic nic or cook your food while admiring the sea. There are very few cars using the streets around the house during the day, and almost none during the night. So, the apartment is absolutely quiet.

Big cozy room with view of the beautiful countryside in the stunning location of Algarvia, very peaceful location close to the ocean, cliffs, forests and mountains, ideal for quite and/or active holiday. Shared rooms are nice, big, well-equiped, monstrous TV. We were the only guests and had all the beautiful house for ourselves, the stay was very pleasant. The staff doesn't speak the best English, but is always helpful.
