This used to be a family home which has been converted to a guest house. It is spacious, beautiful, well cared for and a fabulous location in the Medina. The terrace has a beautiful view of the Medina and surrounding City. Staff were very helpful and friendly. As were the locals. Everyone was most helpful.

Ahmed and his team did everything to make our stay at El Patio Courtyard an amazing experience. Ahmed organised several taxis and a tour guide for us and was extremely helpful. He is fluent in several languages and overall extremely professional. The breakfast staff was lovely and put a lot of effort into preparing fresh meals. The Riad itself is gorgeous. I can highly recommend it.

I think I found the perfect hotel. I found my transfer ready at the airport, I checked in sipping their marvellous lemonade, in the modern, spotless and quiet room I found a complimentary water bottle and a fruit basket (dates are so delicious!), breakfast choice and quality is amazing, when I told them about a led lamp, they changed it immediately, and everything was perfect till the last day. I loved to find my pyjamas arranged as a butterfly on the bed. At the check out they organized a transfer to the airport and they noticed I left behind my cable. They even left me a little gift, souvenir of a perfect stay. Staff was impeccable at any time, I am really amazed with their professionality and kindness. Receptionists were really helpful. This hotel and especially its wonderful staff will make me visit Tunis again, probably in winter when climate is so mild.

It was exactly like the pictures. The owner is super sweet and left us drinks in the fridge (we also returned the favor at the end of our stay). He lives under the apartment and is easily contactable, super helpful too. gorgeous interior.

Very hospitable host. There is no shop right nearby, so a couple of bottles of water were very handy. The apartment is clean and comfortable, nicely decorated, and it’s about a 7–10 minute walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. Quiet, and the apartment has everything you need for a short stay.     It's a new hotel in a alley which seems dark but it's a very good location, close to Av. Habib Bourguiba. The room was very clean. The breakfast was OK. The staff is very helpful and kind. You can find cheaper options in Tunisia but in Tunis it is a very good one.

    The staff were very helpful and nice. The location was amazing. It was a 5 to 8 min walk from the Medina. It was close to many key attractions such as Cathedral St.Vincent de Paul , Avenue Habib Bourguiba and Ez-Zitouna Mosque. Metro stations and Tunis Marine TGM station are a short walk away. It's a very safe neighourhood and ideal for solo female travellers. The rooms were very clean.

    -Very nice traditional North African house. Pristine and well kept. (It is part of Dar Al Jild hotel and restaurant). -Excellent location if you choose to stay in the Madina /old side of the city. -Nice, comfortable rooms. -Very clean. -Food was nice but I missed trying their coscos which is apparently renowned. -Nice Spa and massage. -Excellent staff. - Have deal with a car rental company. Brought the car to me at the hotel and collected after return. Also their price was very reasonable (€50/day).

    Very nice hotel, good location, nice and helpful staff. Very clean, we had everything we need. All rooms have bathroom (I booked cheapest room without bathroom and was very surprise that I have my own bathroom). Really nice place.

    Dar el Medina is the most perfect place I could choose in Tunis especially for its location close to the main Mosque and souks. I was in town to search and deal Berber textiles and jewelry so after purchasing each lot I could go thete to refresh myself and store what I bought safely. The Dar is very clean and quiet so I could sleep soundly! Breakfast is filling, The staff and owners are amazing. Stunning views from the rooftop! Thanks big deal!
