The accommodation was clean and excellent value for money. The owner of Homestay is very attentive, he speaks Chinese and a little English, but he's very helpful. The bed was very soft and comfortable, making it the best place to stay on my trip. Transportation is also convenient, with a bus stop nearby. Taroko National Park is just a 10-minute from the accommodation. Nearby are local restaurants, souvenir shops, and a Family Mart, making it very convenient. The location is also close to Xinchen Railway Station.

Beautiful small hotel on the outskirts of Hualein near the entrance to the Taroko Gorge. On a busy main road but surprisgly quiet and serene that we hardly noticed. Staff wonderful and breakfast amazing. Would highly recommend.

The staff were lovely and helpful, especially Joy. There were snacks, coffee and laundry available as well as as much water as you want. Great location close to the gorge and only a short walk or cycle to Xincheng ships and restaurants.

Really near Xincheng TRA, like literally visible from the exit. We booked here cos we wanted to have easy access to buses headed to Taroko for our trails. It's quite a distance from xincheng old street (where most of the eateries are) but you'll find a lot of good food if you're willing to walk (10-15mins) towards the stretch near 7-eleven or family mart. STARRY Inn provides breakfast & they try not to repeat depending on the number of days you stay, do let them know of your food restrictions. Staff were extremely helpful and kind! The lady boss even ran to the train platform to catch us when she found my dad's iPod left in the room after our check out!!! So so thankful for their hospitality and kindness!

Very close to the bus stop to Taroko in front of the train station. I walked to the bus stop and took the bus no 310 at 7:05, which was the 1st bus to Taroko. I had enough time to see all the beatiful and awsome places in Taroko by just getting on and off the busese no 302 and 310. I used easy card and it cost far less than one day pass which was 250 TWD. The host was very kind and used translation app to explain about the trip to Taroko. He let me know that I must take only one of the two buses if I purchase one day pass. That is why I just used easy card. I also enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of Susi Space and the town.
