Viking Villages is an absolutely amazing place. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. Our lodge was fantastic, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Beds are super comfortable. The styling and decor is second to none. The owner showed us around the grounds and the Viking hall, another stunning piece of architecture. They have sheep - the lambs were super cute - and they make their own maple syrup from their own trees. This is a serene place in the woods, relaxing, quiet, and you can hear nature around you. TV, Wifi and Netflix available if you want to use that. I cooked but you can take a short drive to nearby towns for food. They have a directory in the lodges to tell you all about the area and give food recommendations. The Village looks amazing at night too with all the ambient lighting. We stepped outside to a very atmospheric full moon, starry skies and sounds of nature in the trees. Best night's sleep and best shower on our whole trip! Customer service is fabulous, the owner is more than happy to chat and tell you about the village and area. If we are ever in the US on vacation again, we will be back!

Exactly the type of place we wanted to stay for our first fall night in Vermont. Claire, Brooke and Bridget have been great and the gentleman out front in the morning gave great directions. We snuck in for dinner just under the wire and it was great. Ps, we r from Canada, and felt blanketed in hospitality from the niagara customs officer, along the i90 and all around Vermont. So to any fellow Canadians, its a beautiful place with great people!

Fantastic inn with some of the best and most guest friendly hosts we have met on our many trips. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. My physical limitation was no issue and I was given a parking spot around the corner of our room. The room was beautiful, with fire place and comfi bed. Highly recommended.

Breakfast area was well organized and clean. I ate the oatmeal and it was just fine. Eating area was comfortable and inviting. The room was spacious and extra comfy- it felt special! The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and very helpful when I had a few questions during my stay.
