In Town Guesthouse was one of the best locations in Shkodra. Everything was nearby, 5-10 min by foot. The owners of the house were the sweetest couple, they suggested what to see in Shkodra and recommended us the best places to eat and drink. We loved the backyard and their cute cat. Everything was clean and comfortable. It felt like home.

The room was large and comfortably warm. Bathroom was large, rainforest shower all new and spaceous. Perfectly clean. The host was friendly, knows English well and very responsive. Located just outside of Theth and higher up, nice view of the mountains and very quiet. Beds were comfortable.

Fitted with a terrace, the accommodation offers air conditioning and features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. We felt so lucky to discover Mathilda and Aryan’s place on the river near Lake Koman. We originally stopped for just one night before taking the ferry, but easily could have stayed several more. The setting is beautiful, with great hiking trails and a working farm where we enjoyed grapes and fresh produce right from the garden. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip, and Mathilda and Aryan were such warm and generous hosts. Dinner with them is a must, the food and company made the experience unforgettable. The road getting there was a bit rough, but we just took it slow in our rental car and were fine and it looks like it should be finished in a few months. We’d love to come back and spend more time hiking, especially up to the fortress on the hill behind their house
