Giorgia and all the staff without exception are delightful people who genuinely care about their guests. Efficient, organized, cheerful and welcoming. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were of the highest quality we experienced in Northern Italy. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to enjoy Italian hospitality in an area of spectacular natural beauty. Grazie mille!

Newly opened, beautifully decorated, air conditioned bedrooms, great facilities, family-run and extremely friendly. Set on the banks of Lake Lugano, the terrace, where you have breakfast/ drinks has amazing views across the lake. The breakfast is outstanding- freshly baked breads to start, followed by homemade waffles, and finished off with any type of eggs and bacon. Fabulous orange juice and tea/coffee. The owners also recommended an Italian restaurant 3 minutes walk away, and even reserved a table for us. The food and staff there were amazing too! Villa Patria is a little gem! Can highly recommend!

The apartment is beautifully renovated and well equipped. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with everything you need. We had a good sleep here, the beds are comfy. The bathroom with shower is also rather large and modern. We really liked the view of the hills in the outback of Lugano, especially late in the evening with all the lights. Arrival (by car) and departure were without any problems, communication with the host was always very friendly.

A very kind host and truly a wonderful place, especially for an evening walk along the lake shore. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The host was extremely friendly and genuinely helpful. We even received homemade sweets from his wife as a farewell gift. He also sent us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. It's a fantastic place — we stayed there just for a short stopover, but I'm sure I’ll return for a longer stay with friends.
