Everything you needed, super location; we walked everywhere, supermarket around the corner, coffee pod machine and a generous amount of pods, some tea, comfortable bed, little bit of shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Perfect.

You drive through beautiful wooded forests to reach the accommodation which sits high above La Chaux-de-Fonds. Good breakfast and facilities for tea and coffee.

The location of the apartment was excellent, close to several bus stations and just a 10-minute walk to the university. The best part was the amazing view of the lake. Having a well-stocked kitchen is a big plus for a relatively expensive place like Neuchatel. The price of the apartment was also very low compared to almost all the hotels. The nice couple who manages the property were very kind, despite the language barrier. They checked me in despite coming in late at night.

Localizado em Champ-du-Moulin, no Vale de Areuse, o Hôtel de la Truite disponibiliza quartos espaçosos com uma kitchenette e um restaurante tradicional e brasserie com um terraço. Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.

We stayed here the second time, and were even more pleased with our stay than before. The hotel is located in the heart of the big Jura hiking region, and - especially if you travel by car - you have unlimited possibility for all sorts of hiking. Perfectly clean. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Michel, the owner and the chef, speaks nearly any language you can imagine, and makes you really feel at home. Michel's restaurant is a gem, and it was a big part of our decision to come again. Breakfast is wonderful and well above the usual standards for this level of a hotel. Rooms are simple, but they fully fit to the description and have all necessary, especially if you stay just for a couple of days.
