Lucy picked us up from the airport with flower garlands and gave us a short tour and introduction of the island. She also gave us recommendations for where to eat and tour guides. And the end of our stay Juan drove us to the airport with no extra charge. All in all, a place where you feel welcomed and are well taken care of.

The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. the room was spotlessly clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable and the side lamps made it cosy in the evening. I loved having my own kitchen space and fridge and the private balcony was ideal for eating meals. the location is so peaceful, lots of birdsong in the morning (which is way more restful than the cockerals). its about a 30 minute walk from town but the walk is beautiful along the coast and pass the sunset moais (10 minute stroll or 5 mins to the solitary moai at the end of the road which you'll have all to yourself at sunset). other hotels in this price bracket are also a 30/40 minute walk but along streets so this location is a winner for me. the host (no english) but so friendly and helpful, always kept free drinking water, napkins and toilet paper stocked up. he even took me on a tour of his veg garden and introduced me to the mini melon. the place is peaceful, host friendly and accommodating, pickup to/from the airort included. I loved my stay here.

Plus the shower is amazing, and the bed super comfortable. Furthermore, everyone was so nice and welcoming!Everyone we interacted with was always ensuring we were okay and that we had an smooth trip. For us, that’s what makes this hotel, and the experience so special! We don’t have all the names but especial thanks to Ingrid, and Bruno! Ingrid really went out of her to make everything especial (and the food super tasty) which we truly appreciate. We also scheduled a two day tour through the hotel, our Gina guide was awesome, and we had a great time with her. Ultimately, our trip in Rapa Nui was super relaxed and it was thanks to the organization and help of the staff here.

A patio with garden views is offered in each unit. Maria Hau was extremely friendly and the house is comfy and clean. Location is close to downtown and quiet at night. We accidentally left a water bottle on her car when she drove us to airport and she rushed to the airport and gave it back to us right before we were about to board - extremely helpful and we really appreciate the help!

Having a morning coffee at the patio with birds singing in the background was something else. Totally recommend having a slow morning so you can enjoy the sunshine. Staff is LOVELY! They pick you up and drop you off at the airport so you don’t need to worry about it. I even got a necklace as a gift at the checkout which was such a pleasant surprise!
