The hosts were incredibly friendly - they met us at the airport, organized free transfers to and from the airport, gave us a small tour around the town, and even helped us arrange excursions. On our way back, they surprised us with a small souvenir - such a kind gesture. Thank you very much! The location is quiet and peaceful, with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. It’s about 2 km from Ahu Tahai, the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The house has everything you need for a short stay, including a kitchen. Around the property you’ll see cats, dogs, and chickens walking freely, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere.

The hosts Francisco and Sonia were very welcoming and helpful, they did their very best to make my stay very comfortable, also to advise and make connections for guided tours (you need to have a guide and a Park Permit to go to the archeological sites). The hostal is very centrally located in the town area, but is very quiet within its own substantial garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Highly recommended !

Nhà nghỉ dưỡng có WiFi và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí. the room was spotlessly clean and the beds/pillows were very comfortable and the side lamps made it cosy in the evening. I loved having my own kitchen space and fridge and the private balcony was ideal for eating meals. the location is so peaceful, lots of birdsong in the morning (which is way more restful than the cockerals). its about a 30 minute walk from town but the walk is beautiful along the coast and pass the sunset moais (10 minute stroll or 5 mins to the solitary moai at the end of the road which you'll have all to yourself at sunset). other hotels in this price bracket are also a 30/40 minute walk but along streets so this location is a winner for me. the host (no english) but so friendly and helpful, always kept free drinking water, napkins and toilet paper stocked up. he even took me on a tour of his veg garden and introduced me to the mini melon. the place is peaceful, host friendly and accommodating, pickup to/from the airort included. I loved my stay here.

Room is spacious with all amenities. Staff is very attentive and friendly. We feel very welcoming at the hotel. Stayed during Christmas and we even received little Christmas present from the hotel, very sweet. Both Pablo speak very good English so it’s very easy to communicate with them and get information. Breakfast has lots of varieties and has different products everyday, including fresh juice and freshly made omelette or eggs. Had lunch at the hotel as well, extremely good food. A bit far from the Main Street so it’s very nice and quiet in the hotel area and garden/pool.

We really appreciated them helping to find the strongest wifi on the property for an interview.

We absolutely loved our time at Maria Hau Cabanas, the room was perfect and in such an amazing location, right by the sea and close to town. Maria’s son greeted us at the airport and made sure we were looked after our whole trip, thank you for such an amazing time. Cannot recommend enough!

However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time
