Elegant Accommodations: Rincon de la Sierra Minca in Minca offers well-equipped rooms with balconies, private bathrooms, and mountain views. Common areas feature free WiFi. The restaurant exceeded my expectations, it was the best restaurant I've had in Colombia so far. The portion size of the breakfast was excellent. The coffee was unlimited, hot and so delicious. I was most surprised with the comfort and quality of the beds.

We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

Walking in the streets has been no problem for us. After 8, we took a cab. Great pizzeria, drogeria, ara supermarket close by. Room was very clean and had an AC, showers were cold. Breakfast was a delicious Colombian selection (eggs, arepa, fruit, juice, coffee).
