The place is also very kids friendly and our 3-year-old daughter loved our stay there.

The place was much bigger than we'd expected, honestly a great value for the price. Shower water was heated, place was well equipped, even had a washing machine, just without a dryer unfortunately.

Very nice experience. The cabins were not difficult to find and remote enough to have privacy and some quiet. There were towels, indoor bathroom/shower, coffee facilities, and basic cooking supplies in the room which was nice. They even had a microwave and fridge. I was given the choice between a volcano or town view, and I chose the volcano. They had a small parking lot and good breakfast at whatever time you ask for - traditional Costa Rican breakfast. You can pay by card at the property. There were a few short 1km trails, a pool, and a playground available, which would be nice when it's warmer. The host was friendly and each cabin had WiFi, although some of it was a little unstable. I still had 4G data connection, which made it a very nice stay! About 40 min drive to Turrialba. I spoke Spanish with the host - unsure of her English ability.

Free WiFi is available and in-house parking is provided. Mark, Anabel, and Auxi were wonderful. I was very grateful Auxi was there to make us meals. We had a simple ham and cheese sandwich & fries for lunch and steak, salad, fries + dessert for dinner. If you do not have a 4x4 car it makes it difficult to go up the hill to get to the bungalow so that is the only thing I would make sure you have before coming. But also because of that - we were extremely grateful to have Auxi make us meals and also that it was not a menu so we didn't have to think or choose what to eat, but just ate what was provided. Both Mark and Ana are very friendly and we loved their energy. The facilities were great. We loved the rain and quiet. The view was spectacular waking up. Nortico is very closeby for a nice small walk. So many friendly dogs around! Bonus - the water was a bit low pressure in the bungalow but loved that it got HOT.
