Wendy and Roger were super helpful in helping us find a place to eat and in suggesting things to do while we were there. We felt so welcome and at home at Toucan Lane thanks to Johanna. We stayed in the most beautifull room with our 2 kids. The location was good to go to the different activities and still enjoy the nature. We would certainly recommed Toucan Lane.

We could not have asked for more. Carlos, our host, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing, the place was clean, quiet, bed and pillows were comfortable, near facilities and we could park our motorcycles in a sheltered parking spot. Definitely strongly recommended.

It has a little lake where you can enjoy seeing birds and diferent animals or kayaking. The attention was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. The place is so peaceful and full of nature. We will definitely come back.

This place is a hidden gem, the drive up was stunning, the host was so friendly and the apartment is beautifully decorated. The bed’s extremely comfortable, the shower has great pressure and everything is spotlessly clean. I wish I’d found this place sooner as I would happily spend a lot more time hear. The views take your breathe away. The night sounds are heavenly. There is a great breeze and the screens keep mosquitos away.

The studio was really well equipped and comfortable. The welcome center staff were so helpful and gave us lots of ideas for our stay, there is a really handy book of activities in the studio to check out as well. It was very rainy and hazy when we were there so the volcano was covered but we did see part of it on the last day! beautiful either way. the distance from the studio to our activities in La Fortuna was not bad, about half an hour drive

This place is amazing . I originally booked due to the location , right on the banks of lake Arenal . It was ideal for me with good fishing and Kayaks to use just at the bottom of the garden . The accommodation was perfect , one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in , nice warm , powerful shower and all the facilities you need . The apartment was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was delicious. The owners were really nice , genuine, friendly people . They were happy to go out of their way to make sure you had a good time and a great stay . Highly recommend, one of the best places I have ever stayed .
