Hotel Sophia is located in an upcoming neighborhood where the Tartu University of Science and Technology, as well as hospital are within a short walk away. Super spacious room. We booked it a couple of hours in advance before arriving past midnight and they confirmed the booking quickly.

V Spa & Conference Hotel offers accommodation in Tartu. The hotel has a spa centre and hot spring bath, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Free WiFi is featured. I didn't use SPA. Location is great. Mattresses are super soft and gives on cloud sleep feeling. Rooms are spacious that creates relaxed mood. Coffee from capsules are great quality and kick off me for a new day start.

Tampere Maja offers accommodation in an 18th century wooden house in the heart of the Old Town of Tartu. There is a cultural club in the cellar, showing exhibitions of Estonian and Finnish art. Nice place to stay in the very heart of the old city. Feels authentic and really like home. Has a unique vibe and provides with cultural experience. A lot of wood, pieces of art, it definitely has the soul. Must-stay when in Tartu.

The Antonius is a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of Tartu, directly opposite the main building of Tartu university. Tartu Town hall is 170 metres away. While the room and amenities were lovely and the location couldn't have been better, the highlight for us was the exceptional staff. Joonas and Vanessa were particularly knowledgable and friendly. Perfect stay!
