The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the price is fair, the free breakfast is great, rooms are clean & quiet and there are curtains in the shared dorms which help with privacy and blocking out the light. I was hesitant to write a review cos I don't want it to be booked out next time I come back!

We stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The staff truly made our stay special. When the wonderful woman at the reception found out we were on our honeymoon, she arranged a lovely wedding cake and a room upgrade for us, which was such a kind and thoughtful surprise. All the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with great recommendations for places to eat in the area. The hotel itself is in a great, central location in a safe and secure part of Cairo. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, offering a huge variety of delicious options, and the staff were very attentive, constantly refilling our water, tea, and coffee. We also enjoyed the small pool, which was a nice place to relax and never felt overcrowded. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and have absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommended

The hotel is very nice and spacious, but it lacks some things to become like the rest of the group’s hotels, because I have visited several hotels for Jazz. Overall, thanks to all the staff, and thanks to Youssef at the reception and Mr. Mohamed Aboutrika.

It's a hostel in the midst of bustling El-Tahrir Square - therefore close to or easy to get to everything. The staff is nothing short of brilliant. Sarah, George, Nader, they were all sweet, helpful, always smiling at you and making you feel at home. I had stayed the first days at 4-star hotels in Cairo and Luxor, but only felt that I was really in Cairo at this hostel. The room had a dusty balcony overlooking another old amazing building and the room was very basic, but cozy . The hostel terrace should be a tourist attraction in its own right. Good Egyptian breakfast: pita bread, feta cheese, tomatoes, falafel, coffee. Sarah even gave me the hotel card and told me to call them should I need their help navigating the streets of Cairo. The elevator may look scary, but works perfectly.
