The owners of this apartment must have spent a considerable time contemplating ways to make the experience the very best it can be. The result is that this is one of the best apartments I have visited, on this or any other internet site. It is possible to judge the accommodation by the photos of the rooms that are provided on the site, and it is indeed beautiful, but there‘s far more to it than that. The size of the apartment means that there is a lot of uncluttered space. The large bay window in the living room lets in a lot of natural light. The rooms are warm and solidly built there was virtually no noise. All this leads to the feeling of great relaxation in a busy life. I am going on from here to a budget hotel chain in Aberdeen and can already hear people shouting down the corridor and the wall vibrating as any of the doors shut. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I have decided that in comparison, mine – which is only a few years old - is awful so this may be a more expensive weekend than it first appears. Spending the day walking around this lovely town, I feel that my batteries are recharging. If I didn’t live hundreds of miles away, I would be visiting here a lot more. The owners have invested in a lot of things to make our stay as nice in ways that others probably wouldn’t feel as important. This ranges from providing premium quality toilet paper and kitchen roll to leaving basics in the ‘fridge like milk and bread so we can use and replace them at our leisure. Most hotel rooms have pretty small televisions. The TV in the main room is really large and is able to play DVDs, some of which are provided on the shelves along with a selection of books. This is tremendous value for money. I wish I could stay longer.

We stayed in one of the newer rooms which were tastefully appointed with gorgeous views of the garden and the stream. The common areas have clearly been thoughtfully curated to provide a niche vibe for a variety of sizes of groups. Though I have no reason to go back to the area anytime soon, I would reroute just to stay there again.
