The hotel features an indoor pool, fitness centre, evening entertainment and room service. Absolutely amazing hotel. Full stop. I have stayed in many 5-star hotels and this one, in terms of the room in particular, matches or exceeds them all. As others have noted, the Art’otel team seem to have though of every little detail in order to make you stay as high quality as possible. The breakfast is worth a special mention. It’s simply amazing quality. It’s not a buffet, but the three courses will set you up exceptionally well for the day. Location is also excellent — it’s only a brief 5-minute walk to Old Street station, which will whisk you into central London in a couple of stops. Alternatively, you can take a longer but enjoyable walk down to Liverpool Street station and jump on there, or carry on walking and take yourself into the City. I could write a lot more about all the little details that make this hotel so impressive, but will stop here and simply urge you to come and see for yourself. You won’t regret it!

Complimentary welcome cocktails on arrival. Also got a free upgrade, which was lovely.

The hotel apartment was very comfortable and was well equipped.

The Londoner features a stunning guest-only club, six concept restaurants and bars including a rooftop lounge, a spa with pool, gym, superfood clinic and beauty salon. There are 350 luxurious bedrooms and suites including a tower penthouse suite with panoramic views. Did not have breakfast so can't comment on that but had lunch on first day, and food and service excellent. Location could not be beaten for our activities (shopping and going to theatre)
