The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area where you can relax. Certain units feature views of the mountains or garden. Victorian House features free WiFi . Loved everything about this hôtel!! We stayed in the shepherds hut which had incredible views and a fantastic bathtub. We loved the outdoor fire pit, and the breakfast was delicious. They make little cakes during the day so you can have a sweet treat and the staff is lovely.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

The surrounding National Park offers plenty of scenic routes for walking and cycling, and Ambleside is a 10-minute drive away. Windermere Rail Station is a 5-minute drive from the building. There is free parking and secure bike lock up on site. Very nice and cosy room with kettle, tea and coffee. Debbie (the host) is very lovely lady, and it was really nice chatting to her every morning. The breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The location is very good as it is close to the main road and easy to navigate around. The bus stop is also nearby which is perfect as at times it is easier to just take the bus instead of a car.

The Highfield is in Keswick, in a quiet location among other hotels and homes. Keswick town centre is just a few minutes' walk away, where guests can find the popular Theatre by the Lake. Great location, stunning views. Beautiful building and gorgeous, friendly staff

The room was warm and welcoming. We booked 50 minutes earlier, the receptionist said, The room is ready now. Beautiful grounds to walk around. Felt like one of the elites staying there to be honest. The breakfast was really good and plenty of choice as we sat in this amazing place for our breakfast. Staff are all lovely people. The cleaners were friendly and smiley. Really impressed by the whole experience will visit again.

This 4-star hotel offers free WiFi. Guests can use the spa and wellness centre with an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub, as well as a bar. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We loved our room especially the powerful shower. Upon arrival we had dinner in the restaurant and headed straight to the spa. The spa has amazing facilities, we especially enjoyed the outdoor heated swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and had on offer a wide variety of different foods. The location of the hotel was superb, it was in the town center but we felt like we really were away from everything. Overall, it was a very relaxing break-away in the Lakes.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Bowness-On-Windermere's quaint shops and restaurants are just a short walk from The Westbourne. Free parking is available. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.
