The Apple Inn is an award-winning family-owned Northumbrian country pub, located in the centre of Lucker. Wonderfully authentic and yet modern and in good taste. Would love to go again.

England's most northerly hotel, just 300 yards from the Scottish Border, the Marshall Meadows Manor House is set in 15 acres woodland gardens and boasts sea views and good food. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. The food was exceptional and the staff are all helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We love it here and stay on our way to Scotland.

We liked the size of the bathroom, the morning gown and slippers, the spa smell of the corridors and room, the bottled waters, coffee and tea, biscuits and crisps, the tv with lots of channels and the dressing table that is actually facing the light! 😊 The only thing that bothered us lightly was that the hot and cold water taps are separate instead of a mixer tap ☺️ Overall, we enjoyed our stay
