Modern and clean hotel rooms, some with sea view, bed was very comfortable, shower and AC worked fine. Hotel and its restaurant is beautiful, food was well done, too, and they got a nice beer selection. The whole hotel feels like an oasis in the middle of Livingston. And the staff is great, especially Carlos made us feel at home, and everyone was super helpful. Bring a bit of time when eating here, they're not the fastest, but the food is worth it.

So peaceful. And everyone was so friendly and I enjoyed yummy family meals. I had a lovely stay and lots of doggy cuddles too. I really loved the bamboo hut too a the stunning spot Good luck wiht it all and love the bamboo and cacao projects 💜 Katie x

We spent almost a month in Guatemala and this was by far the MOST amazing stay and like a mini slice of heaven! The owners are extremely friendly. My husband and I enjoyed the food, amazing lake views, fishing, kayaking, wildlife, and the fun boat ride with their dog. The Villa exceeded our expectations and I wish we stayed more time.

When we arrived we felt like at home. All of their workers there are super nice, have a nice smile and they make everything happen that you feel super nice there. The standard of everything there is just higher than in any other hotel we have been so far in Guatemala. If it comes to the shower, bathroom, bed or any other facilities, it’s just great! Also the small details! And the best thing is really as already mentioned the staff there. This is one of the hotels where you will say in a few years, remember the „El Viajero“ in rio dulce, and you‘ll immediately remember which one it was.

Ollie was exceptionally kind and well connected to get us help with transportation. She is also a great cook. Don Luis was the taxi driver that she connected is with. He is a very honest man. He drove back to the facility to return my phone and charger that I left in the taxi. Funds from this place go to support underprivileged individuals attain working skills.

They also have kayaks. Good breakfast!

Hostal Blood Moon ligger i Rio Dulce, 4,9 km fra Castillo de San Felipe de Lara, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. we liked the location a lot - close enough to walk to the centre but far enough away from the crazy traffic on the main street. the staff there is very friendly and helpful - we were able to book our boat ticket there for the same price as at the dock. the lady also called as us a tuktuk to get to the dock in the morning. very recommandable!
