After breakfast we went to Plitvice park which was a short drive to entrance #2. The host was very kind and prepared some sandwiches to go when we checked out for our onward journey. Because we stayed in September, possibly the sauna was not operational, or locked for the season not sure if we misunderstood usage.

The room was very quiet, spacious, clean with an extremely comfortable bed.  The host was very welcoming, friendly, informative and helpful.We highly recommend staying at Plitvice Falls Cottage.

Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic-completely renovated 2025 offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood. Free WiFi is available and free parking is provided. The room was very spacious. We had a 65" TV which was amazing for such a cozy place. It was spotless clean and the stuff very attentive and polite. The breakfast was one of the most interesting ones we've ever had. Also the hotel is placed on the best side of the lakes. You park your car in the private parking of the hotel and walk for 15-20' to the entrance B of the park.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place was very clean and cozy — perfect for relaxing after a walk around Plitvice lakes. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, which made our time there even more fun. We’d definitely love to come back!
