We booked a stay for 3 nights together with a fully planned 4-day trip trough the komodo national park. Jhojo did a great job and showed us the all the beautys of the national park. We had a provate boat, with our own captain, Firman and his son. We saw a lot of dragons, visited beautiful snorkelling places. Jhojo guided us also to see turtles and lovley corals! We slept at his wifes brothers house and had an amazing all inclusive package of delightful indonesian cuisine. Though you cant find luxus on this island, everybody is so nice and respectful, like the whole village is one big family (together with dragons in the garden). Big thanks to Jhojo ans his Family for this amazing experience, we can absolutely recommend this to everyone. See you next time Jhojo! 🥰

Easily one of the most rich experiences we have had on our travels. We enjoyed spending time with jecky’s family, eating delicious home cooked meals, seeing Komodos (of which there are many behind the village), trekking in the national park, swimming with mantas, hiking Padar…the list goes on! Even just sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats or the resident dugong play with a sea turtle is a great way to pass the time. Jecky is a great host and has great English. You can arrange/discuss all your travels and activities with him via WhatsApp prior. And his wife is a great cook! This is a unique opportunity you will be lucky to have. It’s a homestay (not some bland hotel experience) so come ready for adventure.

Jhuna Komodo Homestay har havudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Komodo, 1,8 km fra Pantai Merah Strand. Der er siddeområde og spiseområde i alle enheder. Wonderful experience. Nothing to do with tourist excursions from Labuan Bajo. Jhuna was perfect host, guide and sailor (also ask him about transfers to and from the island). His wife is a wonderful cook (no need to go to a restaurant). It certainly requires a certain spirit of adaptability. You have to be aware that it is not a hotel but a real village house, so: bathroom shared with another room and shower with basin. However this allows you to really experience the island, see the dragons up close and discover incredible beaches without crowds. Thank you Jhune, I wish you and your family all the best.

Ama Wela Living Labuan Bajo ligger i Mbura, 2,1 km fra Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge Strand. Dette overnatningssted med 4 stjerner har en udendørs swimmingpool. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant was top level, get the apple crumble!!! For us backpackers this was our expensive luxury stay, and it was worth every penny.

We stayed here for five nights as a family, and it was an unforgettable experience. From even before our arrival, our host Rudes was incredibly attentive, ensuring we felt completely at ease throughout our journey. ​The fully customized private tours allowed us to relax and enjoy quality family time at our own pace. In the crystal-clear waters of the beautiful beaches, we were amazed to see an abundance of marine life, including tropical fish, manta rays, sea turtles, and even dolphins. Our tour to see the Komodo dragons was equally fantastic; accompanied by an excellent ranger, we were able to observe the dragons thoroughly and comfortably. ​The meals provided were absolutely delicious, and the staff's dedication and hospitality truly made our stay exceptional. ​More than just a sightseeing trip, this experience offered us a close-up look at authentic island life. The local people are wonderfully simple and friendly, providing us with many meaningful insights and reflections. If you are looking for a journey to discover the "real" Komodo Island, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay. The family who hosted us was very kind and helped arrange a local boat to take us to different beaches and snorkeling spots that were absolutely gorgeous (like manta point and pink beach). The host is a ranger at Komodo National Park and gave us a wonderful tour. It was very special to stay in the Muslim village on the sea and have a glimpse of life there. Everyone was very friendly and warm.

Comfortable, large, modern, spacious, clean and bright! Well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with a garden and pool! This was the best accommodation of our entire trip! Furthermore, the owners are incredibly kind and helpful and communication with them was extremely easy! Highly recommended! It was a perfect stay and i hope i will be able to come back again!

Dua Putri Komodo Homestay ligger i Komodo, i nærheden af Pantai Merah Strand, og har gratis wi-fi, og gæsterne kan nyde godt af et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse. Friendly host, amazing location, once in a lifetime trip. You will get places in the national park all to yourself before and after the boat tours leave. We saw so many dragons, sea turtles, manta rays, and other wildlife. The home was very comfortable and food was delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking to explore the national park in a unique way- so much better than the boat tours. Note: bring 1-2 quick dry towels with you for the beach and shower. It’s also worth mentioning it’s a shared bathroom if there are other guests in the homestay. It wasn’t an issue, but I didn’t know before booking.
