The place was immaculate. I know it’s said a lot but I really was a home away from home, only my home is rarely that tidy! I felt completely safe as a solo female traveller and can’t wait to return with my family and book out the place.

The owners are amazing! They ensured we had a wonderful stay. The cottage was spacious for the 4 of us. We highly recommend this country stay.

The huts were nice & cosy & comfortable. The communal facility was very good, with good facilities & a log fired stove. The next morning Mary had a lovely selection of freshly home made breads, fruits, yoghurts, fresh organic eggs, but the highlight for us was the amazing freshly foraged mushrooms was such a treat, provided by Mary, it was very thoughtful, you don't get that anywhere. An amazing place, will return again.

Had dinner at the restaurant which was the best meal we had in our visit to Ireland

Avlon House Bed and Breakfast ligger blot 500 meter nord for Carlow i et roligt, gammelt område (10 minutters gåtur) og er et ideelt udgangspunkt for udflugter i det sydøstlige Irland. I didn't partake in the breakfast. Everything is was FANTASTIC! And a special thank you to Tom for bringing my glasses to the train station.
