Apresentando um restaurante, bar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, The Coach House situa-se em Roundwood, a 11 km de Mosteiro de Glendalough e a 15 km de National Garden Exhibition Centre. We hiked all day on Glendolough and returned to the Coach House for dinner. We did not expect the excellent food we were served in the restaurant. Our dining experience after a full day of travel and exertion was the highlight of my stay! Getting up for breakfast was also a beautiful culinary surprise. The food during our stay was excellent. We also liked browsing the gifts and keepsakes downstairs.

Sean is so friendly and accommodating. We went to the local pub owned by his brother for dinner and then breakfast was provided as well as things to make lunches for the next day of hiking. Sean also drove us to the trail the next day so we could continue on the Wicklow way.

The location was great for our family as we were looking for some solitude with an ability to enjoy Wicklow, Greystones and Dublin. The cottage had great space, was well appointed and had very comfortable beds.

Greystones Harbour Apartments situa-se em Na Clocha Liatha, a 3 minutos a pé de The Cove Beach, 5,4 km de Brayhead e 7,6 km de National Garden Exhibition Centre. Great location, excellent comms and check in/out instructions from Seosamh and Cormac, and the apartments are very well taken care of.

Oferecendo vista do jardim, Aughavannagh Yurt Glamping localiza-se em Aughrim, a 20 km de Mosteiro de Glendalough e 34 km de Campo de Golfe e Resort Mount Wolseley. This little hidden gem absolutely exceeded my expectations. Though at first the price seems high, when you think of what you would get from a travellodge or similar, then paying for extras link breakfast and drinks, there wasn't much difference for our family of four. The location is spectacular and you feel very much in the wild. We stayed for a night to break up a visit with family and as a Christmas treat and what a treat it was. The yurt is toasty warm thanks to the wood pellet stove, though the outdoor toilet in -7 degrees was a bit chilly! There were heated blankets in the beds though we ended up not needing them. The children loved the outdoor space, the fairy doors, whimsical tree house and mud kitchen. What made it so special for us was the view of the night sky, I don't think I have ever seen so many stars and to fall asleep looking at that through the skylight was so special. The hosts have supplied so many home comforts inside the yurt too, hot chocolate and teas and coffee, a box of board games, books and home made ornaments to compliment the space. The microwave and outdoor fire pit BBQ allowed us to cook a lovely meal and then breakfast was superb, continental style with eggs probably from the chickens in the coop nearby! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY!

The apartment was very comfortable with everything necessary to look after yourselves for a longer stay. We had booked one night at the end of our trip and took the opportunity to just rest but there was so much more we could have done in the area. Bernie was an amazingly good hostess checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and providing a delicious breakfast.

Fab beds, showers, kitchen equipment, comfortable furniture, plenty of space, high quality fittings. Great friendly welcome, alpaca talks and quirky shop on site. Wellies provided for alpaca visits. Cute fairy walk for younger children.
