Port Aran House is a beautifully designed B&B in a modern house just outside the relatively busy area of Kilronan where the ferries land. The place is full of first-class local art. My modestly sized room was efficiently organized with a window looking out at the ocean. While it was a bit blustery to take advantage of the big outdoor ocean facing deck, the property has a living room with abundant light. The young couple running the place had a full house when I was there, 2 young kids, and a dog, but they still made time to prepare delicious homemade scones for the self-service breakfast plus check in with their guests daily. My six days at Port Aran House were a gem and a highlight of five weeks in Ireland. Many thanks to Sokha and Kevin.

This was an Elopement Getaway and our first trip to both The Aran Islands and to Ireland, so we wanted to make the most of our time by staying in "The Best" 5 star resorts, castles, Airbnbs and Aran Walkers Lodge! Without hesitation, I can say Aran Walkers Lodge was our favorite stay and "picture perfect" from the moment we checked in until we checked out! Much like the magnificent landscapes, warm welcoming people, delicious food, the historical pubs castles and monuments on Inis Mor, our stay at Aran Walker's Lodge was exactly what comes to mind when I think of Ireland! The view from the lodge is stunning and the location of the property is a beautiful bike ride away from everything we wanted to see (Wormhole, Dún Aonghasa, The Seal Colony, the Sweater Market and much more)....They even provide the bikes for a small fee (much easier and economical than renting from the pier). Our room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and quaintly decorated, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the owner Sean was welcoming and helpful- he advised us on walks, transport and places to eat. THE perfect host! And, Julia...what an absolute gem this beautiful and brilliant girl is! The care, kindness and extra effort she put into any request we had made it feel like we were staying with family...To think she is a volunteer is unbelievable to me. We cannot Thank you enough for turning our dream Ireland Elopement into reality!

Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny is a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Com vista para a sua própria praia, o Ard Einne House disponibiliza acomodações com casa de banho privativa e vistas para a Montanha de Galway e de Clare. Clodagh was super friendly and offered so many great suggestions to us. Breakfast area was lovely and the food itself was just what we needed to start the day. She even provided non-dairy butter for me with breakfast.

We were two couples the downstairs room was tiny so the bed was a full but I slept great. The whole house is lovely and clean. The view is stunning. I was concerned because we had a later ferry and didn’t have time to run to the market and we were pleasantly surprised to have fresh bread milk and eggs to make breakfast with. I will try to stay here on my next visit. We all loved having space to hang out and enjoy our trip.

O Aran Islands Hotel, situado em Inis Mor, tem quartos espaçosos com casa de banho privativa, alguns com varandas e vistas da Baía Kileaney e do Porto Kilronan. The hotel staff went above and beyond. I got a free upgrade into a chalet with a beautiful sea view. The pan fried sea bass I had for dinner was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and all the staff were great, particularly Joanna on reception who arranged for my phone charger to be put on the ferry to the mainland, after I left it in my room, and the hotel manager who took it down to the ferry port. Cannot fault this hotel, highly recommended.
