This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

The breakfasts were great; the house and room was spotless and the location perfect in “downtown” Kilronan. A wonderful and memorable visit! Thank you Geraldine and Thomas!

And any from the busyness of Kilronan and the daytrippers. Very peaceful and close to nature and history. We rented sturdy mountain bikes and did lots of riding on some rough rocks...tires held up!

We were two couples the downstairs room was tiny so the bed was a full but I slept great. The whole house is lovely and clean. The view is stunning. I was concerned because we had a later ferry and didn’t have time to run to the market and we were pleasantly surprised to have fresh bread milk and eggs to make breakfast with. I will try to stay here on my next visit. We all loved having space to hang out and enjoy our trip.

Aran Islands Hotel, on Inis Mor, has spacious en suite bedrooms, some with balconies and views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour. It has a restaurant and bar and free internet access. Loved the food and staff wer very good.The only complaint was the mattress was very uncomfortable
