It was easy to park, although you have to repurchase a parking ticket every day before 09:00. Not a problem for early birds offcourse. Parkings costs were fair, I believe € 2,00 per day. There were free spaces all the time.

The Rooms At Firecastle is set in Kildare's market square, overlooking St Brigid's Cathedral. The view of the cathedral was just stunning. The rooms were gorgeous and very comfortable and much more spacious that elsewhere I stayed in Europe and the UK. I wish I'd had longer. I really didn't want to leave.

It was wonderful! Full of charm. Spacious, perfectly arranged and cleaned, with well-equipped kitchenette. Great location, with easy access to tram. But also with own car park spaces! Amazing staircase! (this was the only drawback - you need to carry your luggage to the 2nd floor. But I was ready for it). Overall, it exceeded our expectations.
