It is great for shorter and longer trips. We loved the area and the calmness around the house. The golden boy was really friendly, there are also hourses around. The room was great for a family, the beds are really comfortable, the bathroom was clean. Our host was also one of the nicest ones. We would come back anytime!

There are several inviting common areas complete with fireplaces and the feeling of contemplation and peace. We topped off our eve with a whiskey at the “help yourself” bar. The next morning we visited the Ailwee Caves (a must see) and the 16th century tower house called Newtown Castle which is part of Burren College of Art - there was true student talent. Both places are a short walk or drive from The Waters Country House. This is a one of a kind B & B NOT to be missed and Wolfgang and Maria are the most gracious proprietors!

We left some tip for the server at breakfast, later on he told us they donate all tips to a local charity. Will definitely be back to stay next time.

Great breakfast if you decide not to cook for yourself, super friendly staff. Everything appeared brand new.
