Excellent accommodation in Port Blair, little away from the noisy city center. However, the city center is located at a distance of about 30 minutes by walk, 10 min by Tuk. We liked the peacefulness, in the evenings you could hear cicadas and frogs. The accommodation was spacious and clean. There was hot water in the bathroom and the AC worked flawlessly. There was also a shared kitchen with everything you need, which was very convenient. The accommodation is also special because of the caring attitude of the owner. He offered good recommendations and helped with scooter rental. In addition, he offered an excellent breakfast. Without a doubt, Le Luminous was our best accommodation in the Andaman Islands.

Ani is an incredible host, from sending a car to fetch me from the port to personally taking me to the airport at a ridiculous hour, plus many more kindnesses. My room was large and well equipped. Homemade breakfast was very delicious. There's a lovely big terrace to catch a breeze. Super convenient for the airport. I cannot thank Ani and his staff enough.

It's vibrant, aesthetic, clean, accurately described, and so green😍 The flowers were in full bloom, and the view from my tent was pretty! Loved my stay and the staff! So hospitable and kind, always willing to help. Gave us tips and tricks on how to see the island from the local perspective. The beach next door is the best on the island with a beautiful sunrise and a moon rise! Yes, that's a thing on the island if you are lucky. The food is delicious 😋 We dived with Vikrant's team, which was such a surreal experience. It is a great place to meet people and just unwind.

AHLAN (BED & BREAKFAST) ligger ca. 43 km fra Mount Harriet National Park og har en terrasse, balkon og udsigt til byen. * Very nice and comfortable home stay -- modern fittings and very recently constructed. * The place is owned and run by a married couple - they live on the first floor and are always available to take care of things. The owner was very efficient, friendly, amicable and accommodative of all our requests, including taxi arrangements and local sightseeing plans. * The rooms (2 that we stayed in) were of a good size -- can easily fit a family of 2 adults+2 children. * All the furnishings in the room were very high quality, esp. the tiles in the rooms and the bathroom. * On one side, the rooms get a view of the airport runway and the hills beyond; the other side rooms get a typical tropical island hill view. * They provide home-made food -- breakfast is always provided; lunch and dinner given upon request. Our request for vegetarian food was happily entertained. The food was excellent -- we had idli, dosa, poori, roti, sambar, chutney, dal, tea/coffee, etc. * It is in a quiet neighbourhood away from the noisy tourist hotels which line the main road from the airport; one can walk down hill to the nearby Siddhi Vinayakar temple (if interested). There are a few small shops and bakery nearby for fresh fruits, bread, snacks, etc. * The staff whom we met were also very friendly and helpful.
