They helped carry our suitcases from the bus stop when we arrived and back to the bus stop early in the morning when we left. Hot water was available 24/7. The food was reasonably priced—similar to other restaurants and hotels—and the quality was very good.

Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

She kindly organised taxis and excursions for us which we were so grateful for. Thank you so much! The hotel itself is a few kilometres above Gangtok. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony which I thoroughly recommend. Waking up to a fantastic view where the clouds kissed the mountains below really shouldn’t be missed. If you want to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle of MG Marg don’t stay here but if you want peace and quiet, fabulous views and the beautiful sound of birdsong, look no further.

Sencha and Yogesh were truly trustworthy drivers too. They have beautiful well thought out outdoor areas too. They also have wonderful pets. Beautiful stay 🥰🙏

We had a beautiful stay at Nabasa Courtyard! Dr OT and Dr Mamta were incredibly warm and kind — they invited us to their Diwali puja, shared dinner with us, and even showed us the Gangtok lights at night. The room was very spacious, spotless, and peaceful. The property is calm, surrounded by greenery, and close to Banjakhri Falls. It truly felt like home.

On top of that, everything was offered at very affordable rates, making it a great value for money. I’m genuinely grateful for the hospitality and care shown by the owner and their family. This homestay isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place where you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Complimentary snacks and essentials were a thoughtful addition and much appreciated. The food stood out the most - flavorful, fresh, and far better than what most homestays offer. Overall, a stay that exceeded expectations, and I would happily return.
