Breakfast was very good, tasted homemade! Every single staff was attentive, courteous, pleasant and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The facility was clean and well looked after! Anything we asked was provided with a smile on their faces!! Amazing experience!! Pool was also large and very clean and well kept. Sitting areas are also with great ambience!! Amazing and will visit again!!!

The room was amazing and Stains and his wife and daughter were so friendly... Very thoughtful in every detail. We felt like we were at home. The breakfast was excellent. Various and tasty. Thank you again for everything! The nearest beaches are 20 min walk away. The area is just so lovely to walk around.

We spent a total of four nights at Dove Cottage. We extended our stay after three nights because we loved it so much. Right at the beginning we can say that if you are looking for accommodation in Cherai Beach, look no further, choose this one because it is just so incredibly good. We were greeted warmly, even though we forgot to let them know that we were arriving early. While we were waiting for our room to be ready, we were given a small snack and were able to freshen up in another room. In addition to our stay, our host Manuvel made sure that we were provided with a scooter for a very fair price. The breakfast was varied, plentiful and very, very tasty. It was a different Indian breakfast every day, which was served warm as soon as we came out of the room. We could choose between coffee or tea, both of which were excellent. Our stay was made so pleasant by Manuvel and his family that we are incredibly grateful to have stayed here. They were so nice, gave us so much information and helped us with everything we needed. They brought us fruit shakes during the day, helped us with our laundry, took us to the tailor and of course, as already mentioned, organised the scooter. It couldn't have been better. The whole family were always attentive and helped immediately, but were never intrusive or restrictive. The rooms were extremely clean and are very modern and newly furnished. Of all the six accommodations we had here in Kerala, it was the best and not even the most expensive. Apart from that, we found the location very good. The restaurants (e.g. Chillout Café, Liliput) are a bit away but it is quite quiet and nothing disturbs you at Dove Cottage. Highly recommended and maybe we'll see each other again in Germany :)

This place is perfectly located next to the backwaters and the beach. Great property to live in and relax at the balcony or the terrace of the property overlooking the backwaters. The property is also managed very well and Mr. Lalu handled everything from the check in to explaining us everything about the property and areas surrounding it very well. The property is very well maintained like a five star property and our stay with old parents and a 4 year old was perfect! The breakfast served at the property was homely, fulfilling and exceptional. Great option to stay in if you visit Cherai beach.
