One of our absolute favorite and most memorable places during our Iceland trip. The accommodation was so homey and well designed and spacious. Perfect for our family and baby. The restaurant was delicious and adorable as well as the breakfast. The owners were kind and thoughtful and we learned so much about the history of the lodge. The surrounding area was stunning and I would recommend everyone to stay here during their stay along the ring road!!

El Ormurinn Cottages se encuentra en Egilsstadir. Hay conexión WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. La ubicación frente al algo es preciosa y pudimos ver muchas auroras boreales. La casa es muy cómida y muy calentita, se estaba muy muy a gusto. Es muy confortable.

El Blabjorg Resort se encuentra en la localidad pesquera de Borgarfjordur Eystri, a 71 km de Egilsstadir, y cuenta con restaurante y cafetería. View with location, breakfast, parking, wifi, 10mins to see puffins,and northern light from window.

Fjalladýrð Hotel se encuentra en Modrudalur y dispone de jardín, terraza, restaurante y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. En el hotel, todas las habitaciones están equipadas con escritorio. Not too far off the N1 but felt like you were were in the wilderness. Stunning views and so quiet. Room lovely and clean although warm as a hot day in Iceland. Food great and service excellent. Well recommend to people.

Jökla Guesthouse está en Skjöldólfsstaðir y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. Hay vistas a la montaña. WOW! Este lugar es hermoso, y esta decorado con un gusto impecable! Nos sentimos MUY a gusto. Cocinamos, lavamos la ropa (esto es un gran plus, no es facil encontrar hospedajes con lavadora) y descansamos! MUY RECOMENDADO!

Hengifosslodge Tiny Houses se encuentra a 5,8 km de Cascada Hengifoss y ofrece jardín y zona de playa privada, además de alojamiento con balcón y wifi gratis. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Hengifosslodge Skáldahús tiene vistas al lago, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Está en Egilsstadir, a 5,9 km de Cascada Hengifoss. Hermoso complejo. Hermoso lugar para ver auroras! Nos avisaron cuando estaban. No hay tanta luz en el complejo asiq es espectacular para eso. Camas cómodas. La vista increíble.
