The owner was very friendly and helpful. All meals were delicious. The location on the lake is beautiful. Vök Baths are close by.

One of the best places we stayed in all Iceland. It’s right on the fjord with scenic views around and the accommodation itself is great! Very cosy and comfortable, with attention to detail, every room or house was special in its own way and provided everything you might need. We came for one night, but stayed for two as we didn’t want to leave. You can enjoy food from the restaurant on site or cook it in a shared kitchen. The staff and especially the owner very super nice, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend!

It’s incredibly cozy — warm and full of charm. We even saw several arctic foxes through the window at sunrise and the northern lights in the evening. A super modern place, furbished with superb quality and style. The room is beautiful, spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are three bathrooms, one of which is HUGE. The owner is really attentive, hard-working and ready to help you with anything you may need. It's the only apartment we stayed in during our trip around Iceland in which we could use a washing machine and a dryer. The fact that you share bathroom and kitchen with other guests might be a nuisance if you're on a tight schedule and these are occupied by other guests. However, this rarely happened, and with three bathrooms for 5 rooms, we only had to wait a bit to use the spacious kitchen a couple of times in 3 days because we were really unlucky and everyone wanted to cook at the same time. :-)
