Bjork Guesthouse localiza-se em Laugarvatn, a 25 km de Parque Nacional de Thingvellir e a 29 km de Geysir. Gostamos muito do facto de ter um frigorífico, chaleira, café, copos e canecas no quarto! Muito simpático. E o miminho que nos deixaram.

Esta propriedade de gerência familiar está a 400 metros da Route 1 e a 15 km de Selfoss. A propriedade dispõe de acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e de um terraço. Desde a simpatia da família anfitriã, o conforto, a higiene e um pequeno-almoço cuidado ao pormenor, tudo esteve perfeito. A vista envolvente também é fabulosa.

Este hotel está situado numa quinta dentro da Região Golden Circle, a 15 minutos de carro da Cascata Gulfoss e das nascentes de água quente Geysir. Boa localização, bastante calmo, quinta com animais bastante gira, preço bastante apelativo. O peq almoço poderia ter mais escolha, mas é bom. Cabana bastante confortável, gostei bastante

Efra Sel Hostel localiza-se em Fludir, a 25 km de Geysir, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um terraço. Efra Sel was the nicest surprise of our trip when it comes to accommodation, and probably my favourite accommodation we stayed at in Iceland. The room was spacious and clean, and this was the only room where we had a sofa as part of a "living room corner" too. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The bathrooms are nice and there are 2 bathrooms for 6 rooms I think, which is a good ratio. We did not see other people, so it barely felt like a shared hostel bathroom. The kitchen is also well equipped with a large table facing large windows with a nice view outside. The price was also pretty affordable. We were sorry we booked only 1 night, and would definitely come back!

Baksas Luxury Campers localiza-se a 48 km de Parque Nacional de Thingvellir e dispõe de um jardim, um terraço e acomodações com pátio e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. Excellent communication from the owners, caravan was exceptionally clean and tidy. Everything you could possibly want was supplied, lovely welcome pack , which was most gladly received. Allocated parking space, nice rural location but near to town. Heating excellent and plenty of hot water. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Backyard Village situa-se em Hveragerði, a 45 km de Perlan e a 45 km de Igreja de Hallgrímskirkja, e dispõe de acomodações com acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, um jardim com um terraço, vista do jardim e acesso... We loved everything about this cabin. We were in the Turquoise cabin. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle and the neighbouring Selfoss. It was also convenient to Keflavik Airport as well as Reykjavik. In the town, there are restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery shops and petrol stations if you just want to hang about the village. We walked to the brewery our first night - everything’s within a 10-15 minute walk. There’s also some hiking and thermal springs close by (we didn’t get to dip in the springs because we ran out of daylight). On to the property - it was like being home and living near a friendly neighbour. It felt very private and the cabin was very warm in freezing temperatures. (once we identified the one window that was left on breathe!) There was everything we needed for cooking/eating and the coffee machine was a bonus. There’s no cable TV, but that was perfectly fine - we just cosied up to some Netflix movies at the end of the day (when we weren’t in the sauna or hot tub). The bathroom was spacious and clean and soap, etc. was available, which was unexpected and handy. The bedroom was comfortable for the both of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we sleep like babies the entire stay. Our favourite parts of our stay were the sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed a couple of sauna sessions during our stay and spent a few nights in the hot tub. On our last night, we were slightly bummed that we didn’t see the northern lights and around the time we were thinking to get out, they appeared and put on the most beautiful show. We didn’t have our cameras, but it’s a memory that will live with us for a long time. Last, but not least, the hosts were incredible and friendly and available when we needed them. They were also very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve been considering a second trip when the weather improves, and if we’re down that way, we Weill certainly stay in the Backyard Village again.
