Antica Residenza is in a beautiful old buildig restored beautifuly. I loved all details old timbers, wooden doors, windows. The room and bathroom are spacious. There is a big wardrobe in the room with planty of space for clothes. I spent 4 days only but I could spend more time to wander in Tirano and the surronding. There is a fridge and air condition in the room. The bathroom has a window too so you can enjoy fresh air at nights when temperature cools down. There is a terrace befor the room with tables and chairs. One evening I had a great dinner of pizza wich I bought in a nearby pizzeria on that terrace. Antica Resindenza is in the beautiful old town of Tirano, a few meters from the Poschiavo Porta, an old Gate of the old city. It is less then 10 minutes walk to Bernina Express and the local busses and trains. I arrived from Milano to Tirano by train and it is an easy walk to Antica residenza even with a suitcase to pull. In Italy you have too prepare for an italian sweet breakfast, which I love and always eat. In Antica Residenza beside the very fresh and tasty sweets I tasted the ham of the region which is faboulous. Elena the host is very helpfull speaks English very well. If I visit Tirano again which is very likely I definetely I will stay again in Antica Residenza.

Actually the quality of this BnB exceeds the quality levels of many 4 and 5 stars hotels in Europe. Even for the few level building there is an elevator. The decoration is clean but with nice memorable details (Fiat car). We liked especially the spacious bathroom with good shower and amenities. The early (07:00) breakfast with the personal service of the hostess was very kind and attentive towards also our son. We, parents with 8yo, stayed here for one night in order the catch the Bernina Express at 08:06. The station is on a convenient short 15 minutes walk near the property. We look forward to stay here again next time when we take the winter time Bernina Express.
