The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — highly recommended!

Set in the heart of Orvieto in a historic building, La Magnolia is just 100 metres from the cathedral. It offers free bike rental and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. Unbelievably beautiful, kind staff. Breakfast came with the reservation. Right in center of town, but windows faced away from foot traffic so balcony and rooms were very quiet.

I felt comfortable and safe as a solo traveler and absolutely LOVED the location. There was a parking lot close by in which I used to store my rental car while I stayed here. I would highly recommend considering a stay here if cleanliness, safety, and comfort is what matters most to you.

Hotel Il Palazzo is set in the left wing of Palazzo Bartocci Fontana, a 16th-Century building halfway between Assisi's Basilica of Saint Francis and Piazza del Comune square. This is my favourite hotel in Assisi. Great location close to the Basilica, beautiful and very clean rooms, friendly staff that will take care of any necessity. Good breakfast and room service. Highly recommended!!

They were all so great, kind, and helpful and did not hesitate to provide whenever we needed anything. Even just to make my mother just a bit more comfortable by giving us with plates and glasses for dining in and enjoying a glass of wine. The rooms were also comfortable, clean, and had a great view. The breakfast was very good and there were several options for those like myself who eat a little on the healthier side. All in all I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something affordable and yet a great value for the money. I loved that they had a chapel in there as well for morning prayers, which my mother personally appreciated seeing as she could pray as early as she wanted.
