The rooms themselves are lovely, the perfect size, and very very clean. The owner, Raeko, is an absolute delight, and is incredibly kind and easy to talk to. I would happily stay again just to see her alone! The location is perfect, right next to the gorgeous temple and the Main Street.

Very conveniently located, 3-5 minute walk to the train station, local to all the Onsen’s, cafe’s and restaurants at your door step. The staff were incredibly helpful and very lovely - they were able to accommodate our limited Japanese and spoke very good English. The room was definitely more of a hotel than a hostel, you have your own space and bathroom, and a window with a view of a temple - from which you could hear the drums of an early evening. It was beautiful ☺️

The staff was incredibly professional and spoke excellent English — something you don’t often find in Japan. The hotel itself is brand new, and the common areas are beautiful: spacious, stylish, and perfectly maintained. The overall mood and atmosphere of the hotel are spotless and serene. For those arriving by car, there’s a large free parking area, which is another great plus (and not so common in Japan). We arrived late in the evening, and the staff welcomed us warmly and were very attentive and kind throughout our stay. Our room was simply perfect — the most spacious one we had during our entire trip in Japan. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable, and everything was spotless. The bathroom was large and well designed, with separate areas for the shower and toilet. The sink was placed in the entrance area, but that didn’t bother us at all — it was actually quite convenient. We were genuinely sad to stay only one night. Next time, we’ll definitely plan to stay a few more days to explore the area and enjoy another relaxing stay at this wonderful hotel.
