Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Our stay at this traditional ryokan was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was immaculately clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. Waking up to a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji right from our window was something we’ll never forget – truly magical. The communal kitchen was a lovely touch, thoughtfully stocked with breakfast essentials, tea, and coffee. We also loved watching wild deer wander by. There are bikes that are free to use and it’s only a 5-10 minute cycle to the nearest 7-eleven. We rented a car and were able to park directly outside. Other guests that we met didn’t have a car enjoyed walking to the nearest bus/ train station. The neighbour is quiet and very safe. What made our stay even more special was the owner. He was incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. His hospitality added such a personal and warm touch to our visit.

We loved listening about the history and story of your home. Juan helped us from the moment we arrived right up until the moment we left offering transport to and from the train station. We rented bicycles for very cheap and cycled around the lake. Waking up to the view of Mt Fuji from the window is something we will not forget!
