This one being the best I've had the pleasure of staying in. The cleanliness is equivalent to some of the fanciest hotels out there, I can't overstate how comfy the common areas and rooms are. The onsen is great, although not very large. I picked the cheapest room option, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a massive room with wall sized view right into the forest, comfortable bunk beds with excellent ventilation.

The room was very big and comfortable, super nice room, not very common in Japan. The staff from the hotel is very nice amd helpful. We really liked the place. The roads around are very nice if you like walking to the main temples and village. Heading back to the hotel at night was easier to get a taxi, it takes 5 minutes to get to the hotel.

The homes were so clean, and smelled like new construction. The onsen was the perfect temperature and the sauna was perfect after walking back from dinner on a cool night.

It was a wonderful experience over there. The land lady picked us up fron Tobu station and was really friendly and guide us which places we should visit. We were amazed by the wooden work of the the cottage.
