Best place in town. We had such a great time. Arnold is so helpful and you can ask him everything. He has the best tips , what to do. The breakfast is really good and Fred is such a lovely person. Its in the middle of the town you can reach everything by walking. Should we come again to Kenya we would stay there again. Thanks for everything

Nosso quarto com varanda no último andar era confortável, iluminado, ventilado e silencioso. O café da manhã é delicioso e Samuel serve um bolo de especiarias inesquecível no café da tarde. Todos os funcionários são muito acolhedores e prestativos.

Shela Bliss situa-se a 4 minutos a pé de Praia de Manda e dispõe de acomodações com um salão partilhado, um terraço e uma cozinha partilhada, para sua conveniência. It was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. The house is a traditional Swahili house, with a beautiful terrace and views, a tastefully decorated interior with all the necessary amenities and a well stacked kitchen, which is always a plus with kids. Our host Abadalla is quite simply the best host I’ve ever had - and we travel quite a bit. He was kind, thoughtful and basically carefully planned our entire stay, coordinating tours, recommending awesome local spots and day activities along the way. He took take of it all, from airport pick up, to sunset Dhow, to Lamu tour, he negotiated the prices and made the trip ultra smooth. He also served us beautiful breakfast every morning, with a large variety of fruits, Swahili pastries, omelettes, etc. He also stocked the fridge and made sure we always had drinking water for a very reasonable fee. The nicest and warmest guy, who also shared many special moments with us, and shared stories and history of Lamu as well. We would highly recommend Shela Bliss to anyone. An outstanding experience!

The properly is one of the highlights of our visit to Shela and Lamu. Shanti means peace, which the property definitely provides. Highly recommended!

Super clean and beautiful house in the heart of Lamu, you are closed to the port and the main street. A few minutes away from the fort. It is super accessible! On top of that the staff is great with a really detailed attention in keeping the rooms tidy every single day and multiple times a day + a chef that cooked us the most delicious dishes + they arrange transport depending on your needs ! The perfect mix to just lay back and enjoy your holidays!

The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.
