After returning from a full day out, we were touched to be greeted with a delicious, homemade traditional Cambodian dessert—just one of the many thoughtful touches that made our stay unforgettable. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the generous in-room offerings: a great selection of tea, coffee, water, and snacks, along with high-quality complimentary toiletries. The surrounding gardens were peaceful and beautifully maintained, and the pool was immaculate—truly the cleanest we’ve seen across all our travels in Southeast Asia. We highly recommend Muni Residence to anyone visiting Battambang. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. We truly felt like part of the family.

Bun and his family are so welcoming and our room was so spacious and clean! The breakfast each morning was amazing and there is also coffee/tea facility in the room and a kitchen facility guests can use. We booked a tuk tuk tour with Bun’s colleague which was brilliant. Our driver was so kind and friendly. Bun even invited us to join him and his friends for a few beers on our last night.

If you're looking for a relaxing, authentic Cambodian experience, Battambang Eco Stay is the place to be.

Our wooden bungalow was charming, clean and functional, the bathroom was basic but it was located upstairs, private and with hot water. The mattress was perfect and the sheets and towels were clean. The shared kitchen is appreciable and you can refill your water bottles for free. Breakfast is plentiful for 3.75 usd half baguette, tea and coffee, homemade jam, fruit and egg. Our hosts welcomed us with a smile, they explained to us how the room and the homestay worked during the stay, they are not intrusive they adapt to travelers. The garden is beautiful with large trees that keep the freshness and a large pond with fish. If you are looking for a homestay with a family and caring welcome you will be in the right place. On the other hand, if you are more used to resorts or boutique hotels this place will not be for you.

My talk most about there stay here, more than the five star resort we also enjoyed on our trip. Food is fantastic, coffee amazing! Saro is a kind man who clearly loves his country and family. He also likes people/ and this is evident in his interactions with others. Family meal time was made all the better by our fellow guests whose company and conversation were delightful. As an ethical option, my heart is full. I felt safe, welcomed and cared for.

Located in Wat Kor Village, 4 km from Psar Nat shopping area, Battambang Resort features bright and modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and views of a garden or lake. We stayed one night passing through Battambang and only regret not taking an extra day or two at this resort. Beautiful lake side rooms, fresh food and wonderful hosts. Located just outside Battambang it’s a perfect little oasis to relax and unwind.

Located in Battambang, Au Cabaret Vert is an eco-friendly hotel which offers bungalows with private patio. It features a 55 m² pool with a completely natural filtering system and tropical gardens. An absolutely beautiful area hidden off the path with extremely friendly staff, delicious food and drinks, a gorgeous pool area and clean and comfortable rooms. If I ever make it back to Battambang, I’ll definitely plan to stay here again. Highly recommended!
