Thambu Illam is a lovely, atmospheric colonial villa in a quiet area of Jaffna. Our double room was simple, but comfortable and there were plenty of areas outside the room - verandahs, garden, interior patio - to sit and relax. Even though the guesthouse doesn't have its own kitchen, the food we ordered through the guesthouse and which the staff served in an open pavillion by the swimming pool was delicious and authentically Sri Lankan. We'd also like to highlight the wonderful treatment we received from the helpful and attentive staff. Among other things, they arranged several tuk tuk rides for us with the incredible Prasath, as well as onward transport.

Tony's Garden House Back Packers inn localiza-se em Jaffna, a 15 minutos a pé de Jaffna Railway Station, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um salão partilhado e um... I stayed a long time here with Tony and I really enjoyed my time. He's so kind, nice, patient and friendly. I felt like at home living with a cool helpful roommate. He was very good to answer to alllll my questions ah ah hope to see you again mister :)

Really wonderful accommodations and friendly, kind host that makes you feel right at home. Beautiful home and large room with powerful a/c and an incredible breakfast every morning. This is my home away from home in Jaffna from now on.

Allens home stay situa-se em Jaffna, a 7 minutos a pé de Templo de Nallur Kandaswamy e a 1,5 km de Jaffna Railway Station. Allen's place is a little oasis in the middle of Jaffna. We loved our stay! The room and bed are very comfortable and the breakfast made fresh every morning by Allen himself. There is a warm shower and the garden great to read a book. I'll come back longer next time!

The Thinnai Hotel - Jaffna localiza-se em Jaffna, a 12 minutos a pé de Templo de Nallur Kandaswamy, e fornece acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um centro de... I loved my stay at the Thinnai (and Jaffna overall, it’s a shame that people skip this place). There was a small miscommunication about take away breakfast, but they sincerely apologised and made up for it with a surprise from the kitchen. Breakfast is also very nice and I definitely recommend the Odiyal Kool which tasted amazing!

Absolutely lovely stay at Munril Guest! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with both air conditioning and a fan. The villa itself is beautiful, with a peaceful and green setting just a few minutes by tuk-tuk from the city center, a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. The facilities are excellent, but what really stands out is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. They even offered free rides to local sights, which was a wonderful bonus. Breakfast was also delicious and well-prepared. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaffna!

It's a beautiful place, the host is really lovely and caring. They even arrange pick up if needed. We got a welcome drink, drinking water was provided, and the host gave us many recommendations for where to get food and what to do in the area.
