We had a nice welcome upon checking in, and the instructions given by the front desk were very clear. We also had our own guest relations officer which was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was pretty awesome, I loved the selection of curries to go with the Sri Lankan breakfast items, and they even had rice congee which was a first on our trip for us. The room was veryyy comfortable and the bed was perfectly firm. There was a slight problem with the blinds in the room when we checked in, but they got it fixed within 15 minutes. I used the gym in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find barbells available which is great. The equipment is well kept and there is a good variety of machines available. The location of the hotel is perfect if you plan to do some surfing, it's easy to find a surf school just on weligama beach, steps away from the hotel. We used the spa on our last morning there and I had a good experience with the therapist and the booking of the spa session was also very seamless. Overall it was a great experience from all touch points, from the check in, to the in room service, restaurant, gym, spa, and also at check out. It's a five star hotel so of course it's going to be expensive, but worth the price if you want to have a relaxing holiday by the beach.

Great place in a quiet jungle setting in town! Close walking distance to turtle beach, dickwella & hiriketiya. Staff are excellent & helped us out in many ways during our 4 night stay, even had a cute surprise for us at check in! Yummy Sri Lankan breakfast included, or you could choose a western option. Pool & lounge area was nice to use when we wanted to get away from the crowds! Rooms were big, clean and the bathroom was nice. Would definitely recommend this new hotel in the quieter part of town!

Guests staying at this villa have access to a balcony. The indoor pool features a water slide and fence. The location of the villa was excellent. Within a couple of minutes of walk, you are at the beach. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Location: the hotel offers good location to sandy shores. I easily rented a scooter with Enriquo ( the owner, he helped me rent it ) and rode it right to the beach for surfing. ( you can check in how far is it from the beach online ) Public area: One standout feature is the spacious rooftop area—a peaceful, open-design terrace offering panoramic sea views. It’s a wonderful spot to relax, read, or enjoy a meal above the treetops.

700 metres from Hiriketiya Beach, Painkiller Hiriketiya is a recently renovated property located in Dickwella and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. There is a private entrance at the homestay for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. The location was perfect, very close to the beach, shops, restaurants and more. The breakfast made by the owner and his family was stellar as well. It was one of the best ones we have eaten in Sri Lanka. It is optional though, so you can opt out, but you would be missing out!! We met some great people as well during breakfast, which gave a bit of a homely feeling, this was perfect. The room was super clean, the airconditioning cold, and the stay was just about perfect. We miss it already!

And special mention to the hosts, they are all wonderful people. They made us feel at home.

Max the owner is amazing, always has good tips to give regarding activities, locations and surfing.
