Mailagama Cinnamon Residence situa-se em Kataragama, a 21 km de Situlpawwa e a 22 km de Tissa Wewa. The people make the place even better. I would love to go back again and stay more nights. You can also buy cinnamon sticks, black pepper etc… direct from their farm… so it’s cheap.

Lake Front Yala Safari localiza-se em Kataragama, a 18 km de Tissa Wewa, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito e um terraço. My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

The staff picked us up and dropped us off from /to the town and the whole day safari is a must have .

The room was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were delightful, extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely return.
