The location, the cleanliness, the pool... But the best thing was the attitude of Thilak (who clearly is the boss), his son, and his entire staff. They arranged transport from our previous accommodation and to our next accommodation. They also took us to safari with their own jeep. As for food - the breakfast, as well as dinner, was delicious. The dinner is a rice&curry buffet with spicy and non-spicy options. For lunch, there are several soups and sandwiches available. We were traveling with a picky 4yo, so this was a lifesaver.

The familiy who owns it was very very sweet. The room was clean and very big aswell. The Host answered all of my questions and even helped me with my transfer to an ATM and also to my next destination.The breakfast was delicious. I would love to stay there again someday. I reget that I booked my safari trip before i arrived there because she also offered me a safari trip. Keep that in mind before your book your trip online. :)

The accommodation is a beautiful oasis, and the cottage was very modern and clean. Communication online was good. Leel adviced us to do an afternoon safari instead of morning. Happy we listened to him! We saw around 40 elephants, a crocodile and many other animals. The food prepared by Leels mother was the best we have had in Sri Lanka, both dinner and breakfast. Such a lovely woman! The driving that Leel arranged was in a modern, compact minivan, with belts and aircondition. Driven by his nephew in a safe manner. He picked us up in Ella, and drove us to Yala. The day after he also drove us to next location. Incredibly kind. Bring bug spray!!

Remote place on the top of the hill in a rainforest -unique location. Has fantastic cristal clean river, I extended for more 3 nights just to swim there. Grill seafood, coconut rise and fried cashew with garlic was my choice for food.
