Located in Udawalawe, NATURE HOUSE offers rustic accommodation with free WiFi access available at all areas. Rooms are comfortable, clean and fitted with a spacious private terrace. In short, we loved everything. The location, the cleanliness, the pool... But the best thing was the attitude of Thilak (who clearly is the boss), his son, and his entire staff. They arranged transport from our previous accommodation and to our next accommodation. They also took us to safari with their own jeep. As for food - the breakfast, as well as dinner, was delicious. The dinner is a rice&curry buffet with spicy and non-spicy options. For lunch, there are several soups and sandwiches available. We were traveling with a picky 4yo, so this was a lifesaver.

Our time at Udawalawe was truly great! The room was clean and much bigger than we expected. Everything seems to be new and well designed. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful.we liked it! The owner was so kind and friendly to us. He even arranged our half-day safari, and it was one of the best experiences we had in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend this place!!

Exceptional facilities and amazing 5 star staff for low price. The hotel manager and his wife as well as the rest of the personnel have been exceptionally kind to us during our day. I arrived sick and they kindly brought me to the doctor, made me rice porridge and juice to recover. We ended up staying one night more and arranged us to stay in the same room. I got a bit better the day after and was able to do the elephant safari that the manager kindly organized for us. Finally he arranged a car to ella at a good price as well. The room was very clean and well furnished, the pool was clean and new and we could see a bunch of animals in the trees nearby. The food cooked was also delicious. Would definitely recommend you to stay there !!!

First of all - the host, was very hospitable and professional with everything. He was very nice and arranged Safari for us even though we arrived quite late. Delicious breakfast (view dishes, we even got king coconut water freshly made). Beautiful place with unique climate! Very clean, with AC and hot water. We recommend it so much!

Leel’s Safari Cottage se găsește în Udawalawe, la 12 km de Parcul Național Udawalawe, și oferă o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. We absolutely loved staying at Leel's cottage. The welcome by him and his wife was super nice, and the garden on their property looks like the garden of Eden! Especially the walkway to the cottage - WOW! And we were so pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the cottage. It was super clean and nice and the bed very comfortable. And then best of all was Leel. He took us on a 6-hour safari and he was such a great guide. He was very knowledgeable, showing us even the smaller animals that we couldn't see. And we saw so many elephants with him! We also got to talk to him after dinner, and the kind and interesting discussions are some of my favorite memories of our whole trip. If you're looking for where to stay in the area, I would highly recommend Leel's place.

The bungalows are very clean, and very well designed. I loved the shower and the hammock outdoors. The host runs the place very professionally and welcoming, we had dinner at the terrace of our bungalow which was also great! Thank you and wishing you all of luck with all your new ideas

He built all these houses by himself and tried his best to make you comfortable. Welcome fresh juice on arrival. The house is simple but made with care and the bed was huge and comfortable. The dinner was delicious. Also we suggest to book a safari with the owner.

We took an afternoon Safari till sunset. Excellent driver who helped us see many of the smaller animals. We did of course see elephants and they were amazing, especially the baby elephants. given a free drop to our next hotel
