We liked the place a lot and would definitely stay there again! We booked a house for two. It is a cute tiny space that has everything one needs. Like a small studio in the nature (the only thing, to wash the dishes one should go to the reception building). Several trails pass by the camping location, and others start close by. The information centre is very close. The camping location is walking distance to the lake, but still remote enough from the main road to not be disturbed by the passing traffic. The premises are dog-friendly (10 Eur per dog per whole stay, to be paid at the reception), and there is even one very cute house dog, who is very well-trained and polite. Also, we had a fox passing by our house two mornings. There is a possibility to rent a bike at the reception.

Also, there is a lot of apples trees on the property, so you can try some apples for free. Owner also helped me with my bike. He provided instrument I needed. Overall, awesome experience.

Location was convenient to food store in Ignalina and also a food truck The Forrest Grill where I got simply the best burger I every had, a nearby hotel for sit down meals, and a really good outdoor grill (shashlyshnaja). Plenty of room in the house. Jolanta was a very accommodating hostess. The local honey she gave us was fantastic, but we could not bring it back to the US. We were permitted to eat anything in the greenhouse, and we enjoyed the cucumbers. Having a dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer was so convenient, The lake was nice, but the boat seemed a little unsteady on the water according to my friend who is knowledgeable. The cleanliness of the local water was spectacular. It was like spring water out of the tap. A little petrol station very close with snacks and drinks to buy. Close to Svencioneliaia where my friends and the church they have pastored for at least 25 years. I will definitely stay there again on our next trip to Lithuania.

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. It is located near a forest, which makes the setting super peaceful and quiet. This is an excellent place for a tranquil getaway.
