Situated within 8 km of Isalo National Park in Ranohira, HOTEL H1 ISALO boasts views of the mountains. Some of Isalo's natural pools are within 6 km of the property. The overall property is well setup (bungalows, big clean pool, good restaurant). We ate all of our meals at the restaurant with a great chef and well priced quality food.

The ranch is stunning, with amazing views of the mountains and just a short (car) distance from the park entrance. The rooms are very spacious, super clean, and equipped with everything you need. The staff is lovely, Wi-Fi works perfectly in the restaurant, and the pool is just what you need to relax after an 8-hour hike. We also used the laundry service — we dropped off our clothes in the morning and they were ready, perfectly folded, by the afternoon. Impeccable! And I still can’t forget that delicious mango jam at breakfast. Another pleasant surprise: they actually clean the rooms daily, which is quite rare for a 2-star hotel.
